Wembley is the FA’s

The Wembley stadium has finally been handed over to the FA. It’s taken 6 years to build and cost £757million but its almost ready for the cup final in May. All I can say is it better be worth it for that amount of money. I’d expect it to be able to fly all over the country so everyone can see games at it!

  1. It has taken long enough hasn’t it! I am glad that the FA Cup Final will be held there, I am hoping that we, Middlesbrough, managed to pull off a huge upset against Man U at Old Trafford. However in the harsh reality of things we don’t stand a chance at all 🙁 .

  3. Sure has!

I watched most of the game yesterday, you played pretty well. I wouldn’t write off an upset just yet. It’s the FA cup, you never know, I’m hoping you win, one of my housemates is a ManUre fan!

  5. I would like to this that an upset is still on the cards but I really can’t see it happening. But seeing as the Semi-final game will be against Watford I think that is a huge incentive to beat Man U. I would actually rest all players bar Cattermole on Saturday vs City and go into the game on Monday fresh. I tell you one thing, if we’re going out of the cup we will go out fighting!

By the way, I am adamant that the penalty decision was incorrect. Yes Boateng handballed it I do not doubt that, but when it is point blank range straight at his face what is he to do? If he didn’t go to protect his face then he would have something wrong with him! Plus if the ball had struck Boateng in the face the same thing would have happened so we gained NO advantage whatsoever. I just think that the referees and in particular the FA want Man U to get to the final. Perhaps I am just saying that because I am rather stressed about it, but you can see where I am coming from.
