I'm a Christian, a designer, and a gadget fan who lives in Cheltenham, UK.

This is my blog, a creative outlet to mess around and play with as well as a place that logs my thoughts and inspirations.

Got these cakes for my birthday yesterday and Forest followed up with a win tonight to go top of the league!

Nice day with my parents in Wales. We visited a church in a small village with a tree that is around 5,600 years old.

Bank holiday coffee by the lake.

I’ve been struggling with my depression again the last couple of months. I’ve been lent a massive Lego kit to build, it’s great for occupying my mind.

Starting to play around and appreciate the camera on the iPhone XS a bit more. Only had it a couple of weeks, but it’s a big jump from my iPhone 7.

He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.

Excited for this to arrive today! Big fan of @austinkleon’s other books.

Arrived in the office to this. Brilliant 👍🏻

Christmas present from my Dad.

In an effort to be less reliant on my iPhone, and to improve my morning routine by not having my phone wake up, I’ve bought myself an alarm clock. It’ll sit on the drawers opposite my bed so I’ll have to get up to turn it off. The best thing about it? No glowing.

Had a good weekend catching up with some friends, meeting their friends, going to their church, walking, drinking coffee, eating good food, and having deep discussions late in to the night. A good weekend all round.

Went for a walk in the evening sun last Sunday, took the opportunity to take some more photos as I went. Since I stopped using Instagram I’ve noticed I’ve stopped taking as many photos, trying to change that.

The Championship kicked off today, I made it a long to Forest’s first game of the season for the first time in years. Of course it helped that it was in only 45 minutes down the road in Bristol and that Tim and I got renew rivalries once again.

With all the tension of the game I only took these two photos. I really need to start taking more pictures.

It finished up 1–1, Forest looked very strong in the second half so I’m hopefully all the early season optimism that’s building up will actually have something to stand on this season.

Took this on my way out of Westminster Central Hall after the London Men’s Convention yesterday. Great to hear John Piper speak and The Lord use his words to speak to many of the men who were there.

Went for a nice long walk around Cheltenham this morning, needed to make sure I got out the flat and enjoyed some of the beautiful sunny weather we have had this bank holiday weekend.

I spotted this copy of The Hobbit in a charity shop window so popped inside to have a look. It’s got some lovely illustrations inside and well I just loved the cover. Decided that for a fiver it was too good to pass up as a beautiful addition to my bookshelves.

An unexpected evening to myself after friends had to cancel at the last minute. Looking forward to a chilled evening watching The Masters golf and enjoying a glass or two of this beautiful Israeli wine.

My first proper attempt at a latte art swan today. Not bad.

Not often you see a full rainbow with all it’s colours on display. God’s reminder that He always stands by His promises.

From my walk to work yesterday morning, an absolutely stunning sunrise.
