What I’m Doing Now

Here are the things I’m currently focused on:

Re‐establish my Bible reading. Last year I started a year long plan to read the bible in a year, I did well until August when I had a bit of a struggle with my depression and things slipped. This year I’ve decided to work through the book of Psalms using Tim Kellers book My Rock; My Refuge: A Year of Daily Devotions in the Psalms.

Lose weight. In 2017 my weight steadily crept up and I stopped exercising regularly. This year I’m going to try and counter the effects of 2017 and lose the weight I’ve gained. My first target is to lose a stone.

Be more creative. Over Christmas while staying with my parents I found some of my old Art Foundation Course sketchbooks, flicking through I was struck by how much more creative they are than the notebooks I’ve been keeping the last few years. I would like to try and rediscover that sense of creative play that was so visible in those sketchbooks.
